My Little Sponge

Today I was reminded how much B observes and takes in - even when I don't think she is. 

So usually B hangs out in the bathroom with me while I take a shower. This way I can keep an eye on her and she knows where I am. 

After my shower I put lotion on as a normally do while B was reading her books. We then we went onto our bedroom so I could finish getting ready for the day... 

I look over and B has found a bottle of lotion and was copying me down to a science. 

( minus opening the lotion and making a huge mess) 

Even when I didnt think she was watching - she is and it made me do a double take on the kind of example I am setting for her. 

She is my little sponge and sometimes I need to be reminded that she is learning and watching every minute- not just when I want her to. :)
